We operate regional facilities throughout the United States and have a network of Distributors covering the US, Mexico, and numerous foreign countries.We are searching for an experience Quality Control/Assurance Supervisor to join our team.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication, time management and multitasking skill, be highly analytical, and demonstrated ability to supervise a team.

Essential Job Responsibilities* Organize the laboratory to maintain a robust team with minimum turnaround.

* Test packaging, formulas and raw materials for performance and physical characteristics.

Tests include viscosity, moisture content, density, pH, RI as well as FTIR analysis.

Able to interpret results skillfully with view to solve problems.

* Evaluate and establish specifications for a variety of raw materials, packaging components and finished goods.

Records test data into computer.

* Write reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards.

* Work with blenders and packagers to assure quality in production processes.* Report to management results and trends for products or materials that do not meet specification.Requirements * A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry.* 5-7 years of related technical and supervisory experience related to lubricants, additives and/or cleaning chemicals.

* Previous experience in formulation of automotive polishes, waxes and compounds as well as a variety of automotive reconditioning products is a plus.* Experience with operation of the following equipment, and ability to interpret results are required: pH and Densitometer, Refractometer, Brookfield and Kinematic Viscosity measurement, FTIR Spectrometer, Karl Fisher – Water content measurements, Flash Point Tester.Work Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
