Position Responsibilities:
Co-lead Flight test mission assurance readiness reviews
Perform and lead technical independent reviews
Perform and lead root cause corrective action efforts
Coordinate mission assurance activities with the division chief engineer, phantom works engineering leadership team, and program chief engineers
Act as co-chair of the division safety review board
Support Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) chief engineer safety review board
Support Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) CEO safety review board
Manage system safety engineers supporting phantom works programs
Fulfill phantom works staffing needs for system safety engineers
Promote and execute safety management system four pillars.
Ensure safety escalation reporting and evaluation timelines are met
Ensure the timely investigation and reporting for notices of escapement impact on safety of flight
Ensure integrity and quality of system safety CDRLs, reports, investigations, and analyses
Provide Safety metrics for monthly phantom works engineering health assessment meeting with Boeing Defense Space & Security chief engineer

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
5+ years of experience in leading or managing technical teams
5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to establish strategic plans and objectives
5+ years of experience leading cross functional teams
5+ years of experience in project management
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in applied science, business, analytics, or information systems
