Marketing Project Manager

Our client is a beloved California retail brand with a legacy of tradition.

Support the Creative and Marketing team by managing the marketing project planning team and production process.

Oversee scheduling, trafficking, planning, and resource management from concept through delivery for all creative and marketing projects, campaigns, and employee communications.

Work closely with cross-functional teams across the company to ensure all project deadlines are met.

What You’ll Do: Manage the marketing project planning team by building and motivating team members to meet project goals.

Oversee and manage the marketing project planning process end to end, including kick-off, day-to-day execution, reviews, and final delivery.

Organize, attend and participate in project meetings (kickoff, reviews, hindsight) with key stakeholders.

Provide ongoing analysis to identify potential roadblocks related to budgets, resources, timelines, and quality and report to leadership.

Coordinate the development, approvals, and deployment of employee communications for the organization in partnership with Marketing, Human Resources, and members of Leadership across all departments.

Manage stakeholder expectations.

Maintain and communicate project status using internal project management tools and calendars, ensuring all objectives and decisions are clearly documented to keep all teams on track.

Manage print marketing budget including PO generation, invoice approval, and monthly budget reviews with partners.

Support the Digital Asset Management process.

Ensure brand and quality standards are met and maintained for all projects.

About You: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related discipline.

5 years in project management or production role, including tracking and planning projects.

Experience leading, motivating, and managing a team, including internal and external resources.

Proven success managing projects and collaborating with business stakeholders within a cross-functional team environment to achieve a common business objective.

Experience managing a budget and negotiating vendor contracts.
