Marketing Manager

Corporate headquarters for a National Tourism Organization is searching for talented Marketing Manager/ Account Executive professional to join their organization.

The corporation prides itself with providing an incredible tourism board the purpose of this role is to lead development and implementation of consumer marketing with emphasis on Paid Digital and Social Marketing programs to drive leisure arrivals to an international destination.

It will also assist in public relations including social marketing integration, monitoring and reporting of monthly PR value generated, development of story angles for PR pitching to help one of the world’s leading National Tourism Organizations continue its tradition of winning major marketing effectiveness awards.
Ideal candidate will have extensive digital marketing/social marketing/content creation experience also have PR expertise.
Principal Accountabilities:
“Ensure on every occasion that Social Marketing and PR programs are complementary; work closely with Agency and Manager of Marketing & Public Relations for integration.
“Team with the Manager of Marketing & Public Relations, and Trade Marketing team in the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that build interest
“Prepare clear and succinct agency input documents/briefs for media planning, creative development of digital and social media/influencer marketing programs, and development of PR campaigns.

Gather supporting assets that are brand campaign
– and cross-discipline-relevant to ensure strong message integration for consumer, PR and trade, as required by the campaign.
“Track competitor activities, social marketing and advertising trends, and intelligence
– gathering.

Must be able to take the next step and assimilate this learning to enhance our programs and develop new ideas.
“Develop strategic thinking, marketing programs and big ideas for the annual marketing plan and all BPM presentations.
Digital & Social
“Management of media buying agency (Mindshare) when required and third party vendors (e.g.

OTAs) on media recommendations and proposal development.

Work with Manager of Marketing & Public Relations and Director USA on plan revisions, and ensure strategic integration is included.
oSet metrics for targeted reach, SOV, engagement, video views, CTRs and other KPIs as agreed for all campaigns.
oSharp analytical skills to evaluate campaign performance reports, and apply findings to optimize for maximum effectiveness.
“Serve as primary day-to-day contact for social marketing/influencer team at PR/Social Marketing agency.
oWriting/asset selection and posting of organic Twitter creative and paid Facebook creative.
oGuide Agency in development of effective, measurable, results-driven paid social marketing programs that meet program-specific and US Social KPIs on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
