Marketing Manager

Responsible for the company’s market research, sales, pricing and product development and also develop marketing, advertising and public relations strategies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain content on the company’s websites, tablet site and mobile site via content management systems

Coordinate work of outside vendors, including website development and online marketing

Conduct and track on-going email marketing campaigns for a variety of resort business units

Publish e-blast

Facilitate the integration of social media with overall marketing programs

Coordinate with vendor to continually maintain social media accounts, including facebook, twitter, youtube, etc.

Conduct regular tracking and reporting of all online and social media programs

Develop innovative social media campaigns and promotions

Manage content on third party websites as needed

Develop content for all online resort channels

Monitor and coordinate with vendor with online brand reputation and post management responses for websites including TripAdvisor, Yelp and more

Assist the Director of Sales & Marketing in strategic planning on an ongoing basis

Collateral Development to capture the ideal customer and improve prospecting.

Design and submit to print.

Coordinate with Sales team with development of monthly promotion and other sales tool.

Maintains a professional image at all times through appearance and dress.

Follows company policies and procedures and is able to effectively communicate them to subordinates. Fulfills Manager on Duty shifts.

Relationships:

Internal: Sales: Develop monthly promotions

External: Travel Agencies: To promote hotel services and generate business.

Vendors: To promote hotel services and generate business.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience: Bachelor Degree or equivalent. A minimum of three to Five years’ work experience in the Marketing field is preferred. Special consideration will be given to those who exhibit exemplary performance.

Skills:

Interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail.

Computer Skills.

Working Conditions:

Will be required to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Will be required to work in fast paced environment.

Ability to stand for long hours at a time. As Manager on Duty, ability to move quickly around to the various departments of the property.

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly, both oral and written. Work well in stressful, high-pressure situations and be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.

Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns and issues raised by team members and guests. Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
