JOB SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager is responsible for executing and promoting the go-to-market strategy for the Americas Retail & Industrial lines of business. The role will help drive our marketing strategy with the intent to differentiate CBRE from the competition and educate our professionals on the growing platform(s) and unique services. The role collaborates across the organization to help bring value propositions to life by leveraging and activating all channels focused on driving demand, adoption, and the overall success of our services, products and solutions with internal and external audiences. The candidate must be a:  •Collaborator: Partners closely with the Sr. Manager and Business leads and plays a central role in organizing and translating the ever-evolving business into tangible and differentiated outcomes with resources across the company including; sales teams/marketing pursuit teams, local marketing leads, digital, creative, and many more.  •Storyteller: Create compelling, differentiated and clear messaging that conveys the unique vision and strategy for our business that clearly articulates the benefits and features of CBRE Retail & Industrial capabilities. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Organize and own relationships with ICSC and NAIOP and similar industry organizations we chose to align with Co-lead and successfully execute our signature client facing events including RECON Deal Making Conferences and The Power of Three Industrial Conferences Partner with the business and marketing counterparts and continue to build out our integrated offerings and sales and marketing toolkits Partner with Communications and the business to develop, activate and launch new products and technologies with internal and external audiences Manage the strategic plan to create, maintain and foster future-focused thought leadership with research and marketing centers of excellence Own all related retail & industrial content across CBRE web pages Maintain editorial calendar for advertisements, thought leadership, events and campaign. Create compelling client engagement, branding, events, and marketing collateral with a consistent level of service and maintain high standards of excellence Participate in Marketing and Knowledge Management forums Create marketing content including but not limited to presentations, videos, case studies, website content, and more Actively work on improving information sharing, training, and communication with our sales professionals Collaborate with corporate communications colleagues and remain compliant with corporate marketing and brand requirements.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Approves subordinate’s recommendations for staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Effectively recommends same for direct reports to next level management for review and approval. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Leads by example and models behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values. QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to work fluently in Adobe Suite and Microsoft systems Demonstrated ability to deploy and maintain a consistently high-quality outcomes, at scale Proven ability to succeed in an ambiguous, self-starting environment  Personable and collaborative with a track record of working successfully across teams

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of five years of related experience and/or training.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS Excellent writing and verbal communication skills. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE Requires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports. REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
