Job Description

Faceware is looking for a Marketing Manager who can help Faceware maintain the #1 brand in facial animation. The ideal person is entrepreneurial, innovative, proactive and excited about animation, games, and/or technology. You’ll be capable of reaching B2B customers through digital and traditional platforms and be excited to spearhead marketing efforts and strategy across our business. Faceware facial motion capture, animation software and hardware have been used to create the performances of some of the most iconic digital characters in video games, feature films, VR experiences, and other forms of digital entertainment. We’re looking for an experienced and versatile marketing manager who loves games and films and just as importantly, how they are created.

Our ideal candidate has experience in 3D animation, game development and/or film production, and knows how to develop and execute marketing campaigns that include website design, copywriting, video production, newsletter creation, PR, graphic design, event planning, and social media. This person will wear many hats and will be comfortable managing multiple marketing projects at once. Objectives of this Role

Analyze market insights and production trends to build successful strategies in conjunction with Faceware’s marketing head and Chief Strategy Officer
Develop marketing initiatives with specific objectives designed to build awareness and interest, and to drive lead generation among Faceware’s core audiences
Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
Create, maintain, and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms to weigh the effectiveness of campaigns and go-to-market strategies
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Work with a creative team to develop creative assets (images, video, etc) and public-­facing communications (web pages, blog posts, case studies, newsletters, etc) in support of specific marketing initiatives
Ensure Faceware maintains its brand integrity across all communication platforms
Work with business development managers to develop marketing assets and programs designed to drive leads into their funnels or to their resellers (e.g. case studies, videos, virtual events, webinars, etc)
Plan and execute events, whether in person or virtual
Develop and build a high-visibility social media presence for the company
Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
A creative mind with strong project management skills
Knowledge of 3D animation, video game development and/or film production tools and processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven experience developing and executing marketing plans
Experience with marketing automation, email and CRM tools
Experience with social media platforms
Basic graphic design skills
Video editing skills a plus
Willingness to travel (when it’s safe to travel again)
