Marketing Manager

Position Summary stayAPT Suites (or “The Company”) is engaged in an ambitious hotel brand launch and expansion effort.

The company plans to grow an existing portfolio of 28 hotels (owned & franchised) into an over 300 location chain across the US over the next 5 years.

In order to accomplish this historic initiative, stayAPT Suites seeks a Marketing Coordinator to report to the Chief Marketing Officer.

The right candidate will meet the requirements listed below while also possessing the flexibility and attitude suitable to an all hands-on deck atmosphere.

Role and Responsibilities Social Media
· Plan and Manage stayAPT Suites Monthly Social Media Calendar; work with Agency Partner on Content Development, Coordination of Posts across platforms, Performance Reporting and Competitive Benchmarking.

o Consumer Based Social Media Strategy o Franchise/Investment/Trade Social Media Strategy Public Relations
· Manage stayAPT Suites Public Relations Calendar and Oversee all Local Market PR Efforts related to the Development and Opening of New Hotels.

o Coordinate Communication Milestones and Details with Development Team for the Accurate and Timely Announcements of Site Closings, Construction Progress and Hotel Opening Dates.

>Responsible for communicating Key Development Dates and Details with PR Agency, to include Site Specific Demand Generators, Individual Hotel Details and GC/Architect, Municipality and Vendor Contact Information.

>Oversee the PR Agency’s development and distribution of Local/Regional announcements and releases as well as their promotion on Social Channels.

>Manage the PR Agency’s Local/Regional Outreach efforts and Coordinate Media Outlet Requests for Follow-up Information and/or Interviews with stayAPT Suites Leadership.

>Coordinate Co-Branded Communication efforts with General Contractors and Architect Partners.

· Assist CMO with Coordination of Hospitality Trade and Franchise Related PR efforts as necessary.

· Maintain Weekly and Monthly PR Activity Reporting
· Disseminate PR Releases Internally o Ensure all Pertinent Communications are Added to stayAPT Suites website Media Page.

o Distribute all Pertinent Communications internally to stayAPT Suites employees to keep associates informed and aware of press activity and coordinate with HR to incorporate press updates in company newsletter.

o Package Releases accordingly for use by Franchise Sales or Local Market Sales and distribute them in a timely manner.

Digital Marketing – Booking Channels
· Manage stayAPT Suites Digital Marketing Calendar for New Hotel Openings o Update New Hotel Opening Calendar on an ongoing basis to schedule trigger-based actions (from “Under Construction” to “Coming Soon” to “Now Open” phases) in all digital platforms, to include Brand Website, Hotel Specific Landing Pages, stayAPT App and stayAPT Mobile Key.

· Work with internal departments (Development, Sales and Operations) to gather site specific information required to promote and market an individual hotel in our online forums (Address, Phone Number, Local Points of Interest, Local Demand Generators, Room Types (ADA Room Types), Approved Booking Date, etc.)
· Provide all site specific information that is required to take a new hotel live on all online brand forums.

Communicate information and updates to agency in a timely manner and according to agreed upon schedule.

· Responsible for making sure all hotel additions/changes made by the agency partner are completed in all online platforms and that the information for each hotel is accurate (detailed quality control checks).

· Responsible for overseeing testing and validation of each new hotel addition in all online platforms (Confirm booking process for each new hotel works correctly and that all associated triggered emails are distributed as expected).

· Assist in taking new hotels live on all OTA platforms (including but not limited to uploading images, logos, descriptions and amenities).

Responsible for data accuracy of hotels on all OTA platforms as well as the associated testing and validation.

Digital Marketing – Media
· Manage Digital Media Calendar o Schedule Pre-Launch and Launch campaigns for new hotels.

· Responsible for working with Sales and Operations to identify all Points of Interest, Landmarks and Key Demand Generators for each new Hotel location and facilitating that information to the agency media team to develop hotel specific key word search terms (Branded and Non-Branded key word banks).

· Work with media agency to understand recommended monthly media budgets for each new hotel (PPC & Digital Ads), manage the approval and maintenance of media authorizations with CMO, ensure each individual hotels media efforts are live each month and at the approved spend levels.

· Work with the media agency team to develop digital ads according to an approved communication plan, manage the approval of ads with CMO.

· Schedule and actively participate in monthly media performance reviews with media agency team and CMO.

Manage all agreed upon updates for each individual hotel (key words, digital ads, messaging, spend levels, etc.) and ensure that updates are operationalized.

· Provide performance updates to Sales and Operations teams.

Marketing Materials – New Property Openings
· Manage the Pre-Opening Hotel Kit for each New Opening o Coordinate the production and delivery of all pre-opening marketing materials for new hotels.

(Banners/Flags, Collateral Items (printed and digital), Promotional Items, Video’s, etc.) o Coordinate the production and delivery of Pre-Opening marketing materials to Sales and Operations  Trade Show
· Maintain the annual Trade Show calendar
· Complete Exhibitor Registration Forms and coordinate associated exhibitor items (electricity, AV, tables/chairs, drapery, etc.) and facilitate billing/payments.

· Complete Attendee Registrations, including hotel accommodations and provide associated communication/details to attendees.

· Handle shipping, delivery and set-up of booth and collateral materials to Conference locations and arrange for tear-down and return of booth materials.

· Assist with coordination and implementation of sponsorship opportunities at conferences.

Work with CMO and agency to develop creative assets as necessary.

· Secure and distribute conference attendee lists to internal teams and agency.

· Assist with Pre and Post Show Marketing and Lead Generation activities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or communications
· 3-5 years of experience Preferred Skills
· Microsoft Office platform
· Experience with development of PPT presentations a plus
