This position is responsible for the marketing of Passages International products throughout North America and for driving the rapid growth of Passages International revenues.

The main customers are Funeral Homes, Crematories, Cemeteries and Distributors.

Included is a pet product line that is sold to Pet Crematories, Cemeteries and Veterinarians.

Passages also develops and executes direct-to-consumer marketing programs.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for the Marketing of Passages International products throughout North America.

The Marketing Manager executes the strategy for marketing to funeral industry organizations such as funeral homes and marketing directly to consumers through the appropriate channels.

The position manages all trade media, social media, advertising, and public relations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Execute the marketing strategy, based on knowledge of established objectives, and market characteristics.

Manage social media, public relations, and content marketing as appropriate to the market segment Coordinate with sales team to provide appropriate sales and focused customer support Manage trade media relationships and coordinate promotional activities associated with trade shows Manage yearly marketing calendar to meet company objectives Develop and manage the marketing budget and provide data on the effectiveness of the marketing spending Formulate, direct, and coordinate marketing campaigns to promote products targeting business to business and consumer audiences Manage the company’s informational and sales websites Manage the implementation of the product line catalog and e-commerce site Support the company in developing educational presentations Manage the hiring, training, or performance evaluations of marketing staff and oversee their daily activities.

Coordinate with product development on product specifications, such as design, color, or packaging.

Direct and manage brand compliance for the company throughout all internal and external communications Negotiate contracts with marketing services vendors as appropriate Manage market research efforts, and analyze industry research, and apply the findings to the marketing programs as opportunities are identified Ideal candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree in marketing plus 5-8 years of professional marketing experience with at least 2 years of manager experience.

Experience leading and managing in-house, and outsourced marketing support is required.

Excellent communications both verbal and written.

Previous roles should include achieving results in managing trade media, social media, advertising, and public relations.
