We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Manager to join our Franchise Division working out of our Downtown LA office!
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Marketing Analytics Manager must have experience tracking, analyzing and reporting on marketing campaign results, and strong knowledge of digital analytics (e.g., establishing tracking, analyzing marketing campaign effectiveness, and generating and reporting insights).
The ideal candidate will have a very well-rounded and flexible skillset and mindset, with a high level of intellectual curiosity.
They will also have a strong commitment to excellent customer service and will be able to help internal stakeholders solve problems.
The candidate will have the ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives.
The Candidate must possess strong analytical, project management, communication and problem-solving skills.
This person must be able to work on their own initiative as well as effectively collaborate with team members and must take ownership of projects.
Responsibilities
– Analyze and interpret a wide range of marketing-program and eCommerce data, including advertising, promotions, website metrics, social media and ongoing online sales.
– Derive insights and make strategic recommendations based on campaign data and results.
– Author mid-campaign updates and post-campaign wrap-up reports encompassing results, outcomes and learnings.
– Recommend and establish ways to monitor programs and run tests
– Report analyses and projections to stakeholders, including senior management and Franchise partners.
– Contribute to the development of new marketing programs.
Work with internal departments (e.g., IT, Operations), Franchise partners and external vendors to implement tracking and execute relevant components of the resulting initiatives.
– Act as the primary owner of website tracking, from tagging recommendations to analysis.
– Recommend ways to expand and improve digital tracking and campaign measurement capabilities
– Champion an ROI focus and help foster a ‘test and learn’ perspective, with the goal of improving the organization’s effectiveness and profitability.
– Establish new processes to obtain, track and archive needed data.
Recommend ways to use metrics to further enable data-driven decision making.
– Own budget tracking and projection for the marketing department.
Update and report projections on an ongoing basis.
– Help oversee the external web and ecommerce vendors
– Provide strategic recommendations and best practices to franchise partners in regards to the effective use of web and mobile solutions in order to help them achieve their business goals
– Assist in the troubleshooting of relevant issues that franchise partners may encounter with their web pages and other digital programs
– Be committed to constant learning, keeping up with Internet industry and technology advancements.
– Manage and improve SEO efforts and results.
– Supervise the Digital Marketing Coordinator and help develop their knowledge and skills to positively impact the team’s efforts
Qualifications:
– Experience with Google Tag Manager, pixel configuration, and Google Analytics are a must
– Strong background in SEO and website CMS management
– Advanced Excel capabilities.
Should be very comfortable working with large amounts of data and using pivot tables, V Lookups, and other advanced Excel formulas
– Experience building out marketing reporting from a variety of inputs
– Experience managing a budget, tracking expenses, explaining variances, reforecasting
