**About the role**
As a **Market Manager, California** for Popshop Live, you will have the unique opportunity to develop and scale livestream shopping in the United States.
You will own the operations, go-to-market strategy and seller growth plan for your market.
You must be comfortable translating business strategy into action and enjoy thinking on your feet.
This role is ideal for someone who has experience in strategy, operations and is excited about managing a market in 360 degrees.You must obsess about improving and iterating on processes to obtain operational excellence.
Market strategy, quality, sales, supporting local customer acquisition efforts, PnL oversight and influence, plus team development and coaching all sit under the Market Managers broad umbrella of responsibilities.
You will need to draw on excellent stakeholder management, project management, business planning and presentation skills, as well as deep operational knowledge, willingness to roll up your sleeves and be extremely nimble and creative.
Developing a deep understanding of your market and truly being its owner will be critical to your success.

This role reports directly to our (head of sales)() (early Uber Eats, ex United Nations, ex BCG).
This is a remote/wfh role with some in person time at our house (“office”) in West Hollywood.
**Experience**
* 4-8 years of investment banking / consulting / business intelligence / strategy or related experience; some high-growth operations or startup experience is strongly preferred.
* Retail experience and/or entertainment or content background a bonus
* Exceptional communication and organization skills
* Bias toward action, great collaborator
* Exceptional Excel / data management skills
* Self-motivated, works independently and possesses strong organization and time management skills
**Responsibilities**
* Accountable for the GMV growth of your market.
Scaling the marketplace while improving team processes based on actual learnings
* Hire, train and manage locally based SMB Account Executives
* Improve the deployment and business operations as we scale
* Rapidly roll out newly launched products across your market and decide positioning of new products to sellers
* Have an innovative mindset and aggressive building mentality to drive results
* Get your hands dirty and roll up your sleeves to do whatever it takes to achieve company, team and personal goals
