The impact you will make: Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Manager, Supply Chain Logistics and Commercial Distribution to join our growing Supply Chain team.

The Manager, Supply Chain Logistics and Commercial Distribution will be a key member of our team primarily responsible for commercial distribution with logistics as a secondary responsibility.

This individual will have the opportunity to further strengthen relationships between Agios and our partners and closely interact with various cross-functional teams.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is seeking full involvement in the commercial distribution processes from start to finish, and it will afford great exposure across many cross-functional collaborative projects.

What you will do: Serve as the internal expert and primary point of contact for commercial distribution activities Manage Agios’ third party logistics provider’s (3PL) day-to-day activities, including and not limited to inventory management, development of metrics scorecards and KPI’s Work closely with the National Account Directors to identify and address product access and order fulfillment issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted flow of inventory into the distribution network and to address commercial inventory reporting inquiries Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance with GMP, GDP, and other applicable regulations; support product recall activities as required Obtain and manage applicable distribution licenses and registrations to ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations Provide logistics support as needed including and not limited to: Support developing and updating policies and procedures to comply with good distribution practices (GDP) and import/export regulations Supporting transportation and logistics activities for domestic and international movements of API, Drug Product and Finished Goods between manufacturing sites and warehouses What you bring: B.S in Science, Business, Supply Chain, or related field 5 years of hands-on logistics experience in the biopharmaceutical industry moving high value clinical and commercial drugs intended for human use Technical expertise in commercial distribution and distribution license management Vendor management expertise US importation and international shipments experience Ability to execute and operate to a high standard Demonstrated track record of successful work across organizational boundaries at all levels to create solutions within a regulated environment Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency with wholesaler and specialty pharmacy data preferred Experience with various tools for data management preferred Experience with continuous improvement methodology preferred Cultural Awareness preferred What we will give you: Deliberate Development.
