We are seeking an experienced bilingual MSW or MFT to manage home visiting services and provideclinicalsupervision within our nationally recognized Hope Street Margolis Family Center. Come join us.The Clinical Manager provides supervision for case management personnel (Family Service Coordinators), clinical interventions for at-risk children and families, and leadership for interdisciplinary training. This individual also represents the Center at local, state and national meetings, participates as a member of the management team, and provides direction for the development of Center programs and services. The Clinical Manager will need to be flexible with respect to responsibilities as the Hope Street Family Center program evolves over a five-year funding period.Provide clinical (reflective) supervision of Family Service Coordinators, including overseeing orientation and training of new staff; conduct weekly individual supervision; conduct joint home visits; and review daily charting, written correspondence, and family plans.Complete annual employee evaluations and provide ongoing administrative supervision, including review of mileage and expense reports, time-sheets, and daily travel itineraries. Assist with interviewing, hiring and orienting new staff and complete annual performance evaluations for assigned FSCs.Provide leadership for weekly case conferences, ensuring that social service and mental health issues are adequately addressed in the development of family service plans.Provide social service and mental health consultations on an as-needed basis, including meeting individually with clients and families to assess needs and providing crisis intervention, advocacy, and referrals when indicated, as well as clinical interventions for children, parents, and families through individual, group, and conjoint services.Provide leadership for program governance functions.Develop and conduct parent workshops related to issues of family and community violence, self-esteem, stress management, coping strategies, and other social service and mental health-related topicsIdentify staff training needs and plan, develop, and facilitate in-service training to meet these needs.Collaborate and act as a liaison with community agency representatives at various organizational levels to facilitate and coordinate provision of needed services, including, as necessary, convening joint case conferences with staff from other involved agencies including but not limited to DCFS and DMH.Provide leadership for program development within the management team, as well as with funding agencies and within the wider Dignity-CHMC organization.#DH-LI
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:Five years clinical work experience, including one year of supervisory experience.Masters degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.Experience in staff supervision, coaching and mentoringExperience in providing clinical services to low-income families from diverse cultural backgrounds.Ability to function as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Demonstrated group leadership skills and experience in developing small-group workshops.Direct experience in working with families around issues related to marital discord, parenting, alcohol and/or other drug abuse, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence, and poverty.Knowledge of the field of child abuse and neglect and familiarity with child abuse reporting laws.Demonstrated ability to execute assigned projects in an independent and responsive manner.Ability to establish cooperative working relationships with lay-persons and professionals from a variety of disciplines and at various organizational levels. Skill in organizing and maintaining a comprehensive record-keeping system.Ability to speak clearly, concisely, and in an organized manner to professionalsPossession of a valid California drivers license and ability to make home visits to various Los Angeles County locationsLicensure preferred.
