We’re looking for a scrappy, creative, and self-driven Social Media Manager to join the Gold’s Gym Marketing team.
This position owns Gold’s Gym’s efforts around promoting our brand, legacy, products and services via organic social media and social advocacy.
This role will be the first line of interaction with our community and ambassadors, a key contributor to our content, and an integral part of bringing the Gold’s Gym brand to life.
You’ll spend your ideas ideating and creating fresh content, planning editorial calendars, working with influencer partners, and executing it all.
This is a creative, fun, and fast-paced full-time position located in our Los Angeles.
Key Responsibilities include: * Develop, implement and evolve Gold’s Gym’s social media strategy * Develop social content strategy and calendar for all Gold’s Gym social channels * Provide daily oversight and accountability for quality control of content as it pertains to the Gold’s Gym brand strategy across multiple social channels * Collaborate with brand team, field teams, and agency partners to grow and support national and micro influencer campaigns * Monitor conversations and trends across social media platforms to respond timely and on-brand, as well as inform relevant internal teams of questions, product suggestions, story ideas and trending topics * Develop social KPIs and performance benchmarks based on member and prospect engagement along with overall audience growth goals * Provide social strategy guidance and education for existing and new Gold’s Gym franchisees * Work in conjunction with Digital Media Manager on paid social ad deployments, best practices, and community managementCompetencies & Qualifications: * Minimum 3+ years of related experience and/or training in a social media and/or community management role for a consumer brand or agency * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Communication, Business or related field * Experience with all major social media networks, in addition to analytics and scheduling tools * Strong interest and familiarity with fitness and lifestyle industries.
Experience with working fitness brands, and lifestyle brands is a major plus.
* Strong interest in emerging social media platforms and social tech trends * Experience developing and managing influencer campaigns a plus * Excellent copywriting skills, with a proven track record of writing engaging content and social media captions * Highly organized and proactive, always looking for ways to push RSG brands social forward while still keeping on top of the day-to-day * Strong empathy and understanding of the customer, solving their problems, adding value, reducing friction and streamlining digital media experiences * Passion for fitness is an absolute must * Ability to work flexible hours as neededWhy Us?
