Summary:
The position of Manager, Professional Services is a key player in Trial Interactive Project Management team.

The Manager, Professional Services line manages individuals and is designed to provide support to the Project Specialists/Project Managers, Trial Interactive and is the first step on a management-oriented career path.

The Manager, Professional Services will work with their Director to drive the bigger picture initiatives and make sure all projects are running smoothly.

Managers are ultimately responsible for the quality of work, profitability and personnel decisions related to their direct reports, with the guidance of their direct supervisor.
The Managers, Professional Services will manage their own clients from implementation, management and delivery.

Project Specialists support the Managers to ensure that the contracted services of a client are carried out by the assigned project team in accordance with the executed contract and client expectations.

Responsibilities: 
Ensure that all personnel reporting to them are trained in and perform all of their required duties Conduct one-on-one meetings with direct reports bi-weekly, with supervision of manager where required Conduct cycle reviews with direct reports, with supervision of the manager where required Work directly with reports to ensure effective execution of all projects Assist manager with department resource requirements Train Project Specialists/Project Managers Troubleshoot any and all issues that arise The Manager is the leader of the Project Team and responsible for collaboration with assigned team in meeting client deliverables as outlined in the contract for complex strategic projects Ensure completion of applicable project-required documents, updates, and response to requests timely Participate in and support Quality Assurance with clients and regulatory audits, as necessary Respond to client requests for new project initiatives; collaborate with various members of the Business Development Team & Product Development Team to assess the scope of work and cost estimates Work with the Product Managers to provide feedback and suggestions for future features, raise AHA tickets Be knowledgeable in Trial Interactive systems in order to appropriately support clients and recommend process improvements.

Become a Subject Matter expert for client supported technologies  Grow existing client relationships through service and technology lead development Participate in the Business Development process including but not limited to, RFPs, client calls or Bid Defenses as assigned.

Take a proactive role in learning about clients’ industry and business needs and company culture and educating the project team Provide a high level of customer services to assigned clients Monitor and communicate project progress internally and externally Ensure strict adherence to deadlines and budgets, and ultimately produce high quality deliverables Serve as the primary point of contact for client contacts Set and fulfill client expectations Oversee study budget and monitor employee time against Client Budget and Statement of Work Work with the Associate Director/Director of TransPerfect Life Sciences Solutions to implement process improvements and manage ad hoc projects Support and encourage team members to maximize productivity Provide Trial Interactive product support to clients and junior colleagues Perform additional duties or projects as assigned
 
About You:

Your experience includes:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university Minimum of 1 years’ experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred) Knowledge of clinical development phases and processes Knowledge of technology within the industry Minimum of 5 years project management experience
A plus if you have:
Knowledge of or experience in the Life Sciences industry (pharmaceutical, biotechnology or CRO experience preferred) Experience with essential documents and other study documentation Work well with people from a variety of different backgrounds and cultures Can work independently and as part of a team
