Job Details
Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated, self-driven, relationship builder with strong analytical and technical skills to join our Internal Reporting team. This opportunity encompasses numerous responsibilities including but not limited to budgeting, and reporting duties, monthly executive management reports, acquisitions, and dispositions duties, supporting schedules and analysis for quarterly financial reporting, joint venture reporting for two joint ventures, staff mentoring and development, and collaboration with other teams inside and outside of accounting on process improvement, efficiency, and automation projects.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of real estate accounting and/or public accounting firm experience, Big 4 preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, and CPA designation preferred.
- Previous real estate and/or REIT experience is a big plus!
- Strong accounting skills, knowledge, and judgement as well as a solid understanding of US GAAP concepts.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills; including the ability to mentor and develop staff for future growth and provide results under tight deadlines.
