Job Description The Manager of Merchandising and Sales Operations will have an exciting opportunity to be a part of a fast-growing fashion textiles wholesale business. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales from product launch through the end of the life cycle. The candidate will be coordinating all visual merchandising initiatives; including tradeshows and other sales events, providing key sales tools to our rapidly growing territory sales representatives. The ideal candidate will have a passion for realizing the results of their ideas and concepts. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with PD/Design/VP to execute all new product launches. Determine product needs for tradeshows/showrooms/salesmans samples Determines visual merchandising strategy with team Works closely with merchandising team to determining key KPI’s for each event/project and measuring the metrics. Will play a role in analyzing sales results to determine appropriate changes to strategy for each event. Collaborate with marketing and VP on annual product strategy and ensure that the strategy is executed. Will manage the Product Assortment Initiatives with the VP and execute next steps in the lifecycle strategy – including monthly promotions. Will manage the sales and inventory of all of our showrooms Will be a key contact with the Director of Sales and the sales representatives Works closely with assistant on all sales products for the sales team. Samples Swatches Key communicator to all sales team regarding product, including new introductions, quality issue information, life cycle changes, new packaging, and any other information that will assist them in their sales roles. Create and manage sales product packages and other creative sales tools to effectively assist the sales team to achieve their sales goals Assists Salespeople with Key Account initiatives Co-ordinate sales training with design and distribute to sales team Ensures that all digital platforms are presenting our product successfully and generating the sales goals · Manages and develops an administrative assistant Qualifications and Requirements: 2-3 years of retail or wholesale product management or tradeshow coordinator positions BA/BS in merchandising, business or related field Detail oriented with a hands-on approach to problem solving Excellent interpersonal skills Advanced in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Excellent communication skills Ability to travel approx. 20 % of the time, sometimes up to 10 days per trip. This is a full-time position based in our Vernon, CA headquarters.
