Individually we are talented, but together we are unstoppable.About This TeamThe primary goals of the Architectural Technical Sales (ATS) position are to accelerate sales growth (primary KPI) and drive impeccable customer success.

This will be achieved by serving as the single point of contact for our field sales (internal partners) and agency sales (external partners) teams for Mark Architectural Lighting and Peerless Lighting brands.

The ATS position is a technical expert and the single source for all relevant pre to post sales questions and information (i.E., submittals, pricing, go or no-go questions) for the brands and requires coordination with associated teams such as engineering, product support, business unit leadership, etc.

This role is not a direct sales position, but more of a service-based inside sales role.How You Will ContributePre-SalesDirectly interface with agents and specifiers to research and aid in the determination of product feasibility and application needs.Assist agents in interpretation of RCP’s, fixture counts, and preparation of fixture schedules.Utilize Configurator and system tools to facilitate submittal generation (RFA request-for-assistance).Facilitate with engineering on the feasibility of RFA-MOD (request-for-assistance, modification) requests, including pre-order RFA submittals, cross-section drawings, photometric files, and samples as needed.Arrange RFA-MOD pricing including working with engineering, AQD (quotes department) and others as required.Coordinate with Engineering to ensure fixture samples and final products are built to spec.Collaborate with regional Project Managers and Application Engineers on complex and/or large projects.Support the sales team, including occasional travel, by building relationships with the agency network.Foster meaningful relationships with agents while providing support on our products, and to perform training on product enhancements, process updates, and resources available.Engage in system-wide process and systems improvements activities centered around speed in the order process to include submittal generation, takeoffs, breakouts, BOM and CI code generation, post sales close time etc.Order ManagementProject manage orders ensuring on-time performance is met.

Coordinates with POM point-of-manufacturing partners (FFM focus factory manager, BP buyer planner) on high profile and white glove projects to ensure we meet on-site date and design requirements.Order Management including updates to agents on status of project orders from inception through shipment.Post SalesEngage and partner with the warranty services team on project orders that include quality concerns.
