Manager, HRO

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform client activities including employee management, benefits administration, risk management/compliance, and client support.

Support extensive client base with all facets of Human Resources.

Perform Human Resources support work under tight deadlines, including a multitude of activities including but not limited to benefits administration, employee relations, workers’ compensation, leave management, employee on-boarding, employee terminations, and policy administration.

Deliver exceptional service on time and on budget.

Routinely communicate with client staff within each organization on tasks relating to Human Resources support, issues and deliverables.

Participate and support new and existing project initiatives from the consulting office or at client sites.

Identify and escalate issues to senior management for resolution.

Enter data and maintain files and records.

Prepare all necessary reports.

Handle correspondence involving HR Solutions clients.

Assist in resolution of HR Solutions issues as needed.

Prepare documents and maintain appropriate records.

Assist with periodic audits of personnel and payroll documents.

Systematically verify and audit data for completeness and accuracy according to established controls.

Participate in training and instruction as needed or directed.

Demonstrate the ability to achieve more complex work in a particular field/industry.

Identify and implement multiple functional innovations.

Achieve a broad understanding of client industry-specific support needs.

Deep understanding of Armanino service delivery methodology.

Perform complex project work.

Ensure the work of staff is in line with Armanino methods and quality standards.

Understand the full range of Armanino Consulting services.

Attend industry, functional, and other networking events.

Begin to identify opportunities at existing clients and surface to engagement leadership.

Generate ideas to maximize engagement profitability.

Support scoping, pricing and change order preparation.

Support manager to on-board new clients.

Stay abreast of new developments, standards, trends, etc.

in your area of focus through professional development opportunities.

Pursue and maintain professional certification (if applicable).

Ensure engagement managers are aware of budget over-runs.

Work with managers to prepare out of scope billings.

Perform all tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIREMENTS Undergraduate Degree in Human Resources or Business Consulting or related field or equivalent experience required.

10 years’ experience in all facets of Human Resources, Payroll experience a plus.

PHR or SPHR (or other relevant professional certification) preferred.

Ability to set priorities and with excellent time management skills; enjoy working independently with clear deadlines and deliverables.

Experience and proficiency in various industry-related software, including benefits portals, and others as needed also required.

Ability to make accurate arithmetic calculations.

Ability to maintain complex and automated records in an orderly and accurate manner.

Ability to deal with vendors and clients in an efficient and professional manner.

Communication skills – ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, in writing and verbally.

Ability to generate specialized computer reports.

Ability to work accurately and quickly under operational deadlines.

Strong analytical and technical skills.

Excellent time management skills.

Enjoy working independently or in a team environment with clear deadlines and deliverables.

Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
