Manager HR Data Privacy

ADP is hiring a HR Data Privacy and Security Manager.

This position will lead the development and implementation of global HR data standards and governance for all internal HR systems and processes across ADP to ensure compliance with global and local privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation, and ADP’s own Binding Corporate Rules.

The ultimate goal is to ensure ADP develops and maintains tight, legal and ethical controls on associate data to ensure compliance with policies, regulations and high levels of associate satisfaction with how the company uses their personal information.Assess, direct, implement and maintain programs, policies and practices to ensure that ADP is in compliance with HR related legal/regulatory policies and laws pertaining to the internal use of our HR data and HR data systems.

Design a global compliance program to identify risk and ensure adherence with all applicable requirements in regard to HR data security, data flows and data privacy to mitigate loss and protect associates.

Proactively track laws and regulations that affect the organization’s policies and implement necessary changes in policies, procedures and internal controls.

Proactively partner with all relevant HR, business unit, country and operational groups.Success measures of the role will include: 100% compliance on the 2x / year Nymity attestation on our privacy compliance program.

This measures the awareness and effectiveness of the processes implemented to meet the BCR with HR.

Number of data incidents involving personal data, compliance with 100% reporting and resolution/action in 3 weeks Timeframe to address privacy impact assessments
– initiated within 48 business hours, actively worked with a target of 2 weeks for completed assessment, excluding delays waiting for data Training and Awareness: 100% HR trained on privacy and up to date on training on annual basis Privacy by Design (Assessments): All data driven projects with privacy consultations Request Processing: Associate Right to Review requests managed and responded to within timeframes per requirements (can vary at country level or overall through BCR agreement).

Develop, audit and enforce processes (including but not limited to policy implementation, policy harmonization, internal control, risk assessments, training, benchmarking and documentation,) that reduce risk and ensure prevention, detection and correction of violations of law or company policy and agreements.

This specifically includes enforcing and auditing processes developed to ensure compliance with the E.U.’s General Data Protection Regulation, ADP’s Binding Corporate Rules and various country-specific privacy laws.

Understand ADP’s obligations under its Binding Corporate Rules and proactively set and adopt strategy for ADP for compliance through messaging, partnerships, training, etc.Identify key privacy and compliance related metrics to enable reporting and trend analysis.

Drive HR data compliance visibility by engaging relevant business units and operations teams, senior management and EAIS on a regular basis to ensure alignment on current and future strategy implementation.

Effectively communicate and educate key stakeholders on processes, policies and procedures.Responsible for understanding all HR data flows and for managing the Inventory of HR Systems containing PII.

Fully understand and document all upstream and downstream flows of data, and ensure we keep those flows updated.

Keep appropriate constituencies appraised of changes, and ensure we are compliant with all requirements and agreements.

This includes agreements and communications with Data Privacy Authorities, Workers Councils, HR, GSO and IT leaders.Direct and maintain Global Data Privacy policy including applicant and associate privacy statements.

Act as Local Business Security Champion enforcing our Date Security and Privacy policies.Develop strong working relationships with key stakeholders and system managers in HR, IT and the GSO to ensure a positive dialogue, open information sharing and effective stewardship and accountability.
