We’re working hard to bring even more of our original series programming to our viewers worldwide
– and while Netflix (as the studio) produces some of this original series programming in-house, a significant portion of our original series programming is produced by, and licensed from, third-party studio partners (including some of Netflix’s most popular and award-winning scripted programming, including Ozark, The Crown, Cobra Kai, and Black Mirror).
The Original Series Licensing Business & Legal Affairs team manages all aspects of the business and legal relationships with Netflix’s third-party studio and production partners that produce scripted original series for Netflix, and the team handles (from the offer/development stage through and including production) the negotiation and drafting of all agreements for any licensed Original Series projects originating from Netflix’s various US-based creative teams (Drama, Comedy, etc.).

The candidate should be extremely comfortable counseling creative executives and making decisions that have both business and legal impacts, and should be adept at developing and fostering relationships with his/her third-party studio counterparts.
