Manager, Client Delivery and Production

Your role as Manager, Client Delivery and Production:

Your job will be to own and ensure the timely, process-driven delivery of multiple simultaneous projects, and bring a passion and desire to employ and hone your project management, presentation, and leadership skills.

The Manager, Client Delivery and Production, ensures excellence in delivery through efficient project plan development and execution, exceptional financial management, and effective liaising between clients, agency partners, and the internal production team.

A Manager, Client Delivery and Production

Delivery and Operations:

  • Creates, implements, and manages production schedules for several simultaneous and fast-paced digital and non-digital tactics
  • Creates project Scopes of Work and associated budgets; monitors, adjusts, and maintains throughout the life of the project
  • Manages project financials and is accountable for on-budget delivery of projects 
  • Monitors resource hours on a weekly basis, proactively escalating potential overages before any impact to budget
  • Leads the internal team in the planning and execution of deliverables as well as risk escalation and conflict resolution throughout the life of projects
  • Identifies and manages the internal resources required to complete work; provides solutions to bottlenecks or pending risks
  • Ensures the internal team consistently adheres to standard operating procedures and quality standards
  • Provides solutions to complex production and project issues with a collaborative solutions-based approach, pulling from past experience while adjusting to the situation at hand
  • Identifies gaps and risks with existing process and proposes/implements refined standard operating procedures
  • Sets quality standards
  • Knows when to escalate an issue before it causes an impact to timing and/or budget
  • Delivers accurate forecasts and alerts appropriate parties of any changes on projects owned
  • Clearly prioritizes and communicates daily tasks to the production team
  • Coordinates with and/or manages third-party resources and/or agency partners as needed for project coordination and delivery

Client Relationship Management:

  • Is the day-to-day account lead responsible for proactively providing all relevant project communications and acting as the project steward to the client
  • Has the ability to convey complex ideas/solutions to clients in a clear, concise manner
  • Is trusted by and instills confidence in the client
  • Provides a meaningful role in new client on-boardings
  • Possesses exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills

Qualifications include (but are not limited to):

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience; 3 years in an advertising agency setting
  • Experience in project management of digital and traditional projects including website development, eDetails, banner ads, email campaigns, print advertising, print materials, etc
  • Basic understanding of technical development platforms and processes
  • Comfort and willingness to present to groups, internally and externally 
  • Willingness to interact with clients on a regular basis; travel may be required
  • Pharmaceutical marketing experience (eg, direct-to-consumer, direct-to-professional, etc) and knowledge of the regulatory process is required
  • Impeccable attention to detail and self-accountability
  • Adept at using Microsoft productivity tools
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful management of project-based budgets
  • Ability to work well independently, as a team member, and as a leader to manage the flow of projects through the agency/team
  • A bachelor’s degree (advertising, marketing, or management major preferred)
