To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills (especially in large data sets) interpreting quantitative, qualitative, and financial data and turning these into actionable business strategies. Further this candidate will have experience leading cross functional efforts to implement scalable solutions.

The candidate will have deep curiosity when evaluating data, processes, or systems to go the extra mile to discover new insights based on outcomes of previous analysis. These insights will become reports and presentations thus requiring a strong understanding of reporting tools such as Tableau/Looker and the ability to communicate complicated ideas in easy-to-understand ways. The candidate will also have experience bridging the gap from insight to solution and have experience implementing solutions including leading software implementations (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, Braze). This will require experience leading cross functional initiatives and using best-practice project management tools and tactics.

Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the COO, the Manager, Business Analysis and Strategy will serve as the primary conduit between functional leadership and the senior leadership team. The candidate will be responsible for:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions. Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and supporting the development of optimization strategies. Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Leading company-wide software implementations usually with assistance from third party implementation partners. Performing requirements analysis. Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts. Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.

Requirements:

A bachelors in an analytical field is required along with 7-10 years of experience doing similar work with upward mobility.

An MBA or masters degree is a big plus. Strong work ethic and desire to succeed Ability to efficiently organize and manage multiple priorities Ability to lead cross functional project management efforts Must possess computer proficiency and keyboarding skills including familiarity with the computer programs of Word, Excel, Tableau, Confluence, Slack Must have strong commitment to company values and the ability to work in a team and sales driven environment MUST be able to work from the Los Angeles Office 3-4 days/week
