The Manager, Brand and Social Media, is a key member of Teleflora’s consumer marketing team. This position will manage the execution of Teleflora’s brand campaigns along with social media and influencer strategy, planning, content, and spend. They will be responsible for driving the strategic development and execution of seasonal lifestyle photo shoots and social video content utilized across priority social platforms, B2B initiatives, and eCommerce.

The Manager, Brand and Social Media will report to the Director of Marketing.

This role will participate in our HYBRID work model (Mon-Wed in office, Thu-Fri remote) and is not eligible for fully remote. Our West Los Angeles office is located at 11444 W. Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90064.

Job Description

  • Develop and manage strategy, creative briefs, work orders, presentations, and reporting for brand campaigns and social media initiatives.
  • Manage campaign development to include research, data analysis, insights, concept development, strategy and rationale.
  • Directly manage paid and organic social media efforts (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, influencer networks, etc.), as well as influencer and brand partner relationships.
  • Create and maintain social media editorial calendar in partnership with the Director of Marketing.
  • Manage lifestyle product photo shoots for content that will be utilized on social media platforms, B2B initiatives, eCommerce, etc.
  • Partner with Teleflora’s in-house agency and consumer insights team on brand and social media strategy and execution to develop, track, and monitor social media KPIs and reporting analytics 
  • Collaborate and partner with e-commerce, product marketing, and florist marketing teams to ensure brand messaging, look and feel is consistent across all platforms
  • Develop and execute philanthropic consumer-facing programming.
  • Manage dedicated portion of department budget and maintain monthly streamlined reporting.
  • Oversee in-house and offsite production for Teleflora’s national holiday brand campaigns.

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of brand marketing and social media experience (both strategy and execution)
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills, with the ability to build presentations from the ground up and connect with bothd external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Excel with an eye for detail, data accuracy, function, and formatting
  • Analytical thinker with a talent for strategically leveraging data and insights to make meaningful recommendations
  • Ability to map out well-thought out timelines based on key priorities and ongoing initiatives
  • Collaborative and solution-oriented thinker with a keen eye for creativity. Interest in lifestyle and interior design a plus.
  • Experience interfacing with executives and agency partners, and managing the creative process.
  • Reliable mode of transportation required. Must be comfortable with traveling up to 20% for primarily local photo shoots and planning, campaign shoots, offsite industry events, and PR events.

Pay Range: $90,000 – $95,000 and may include a discretionary bonus. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
