Our client, a global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing firm, is seeking an IT Project Manager, on a REMOTE, fulltime salaried basis. Reporting to the Transition Program Manager you will assist in the activation of services depending on the solution that is being outsourced. You will be responsible for managing service delivery support activities and work with the Clients and other functional areas to effectively deploy Managed Services solutions using established procedures. These projects are within areas like network, datacenter, telecommunication, virtualization, collaboration (UC), service desk, or security projects. Responsibilities Delivery of new clients into the Operations Center Works closely with and lsquomanagesrsquo all resources in the onboarding and delivery of new clients namely, the client, Account Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Field engineers, admin and technical staff in the deployments team Helps identify issues that may impact the success and timely completion of the deployment and either correct them or escalate to Managed Services senior management Assists in the development and maintenance of deployment documentation, procedures and project plans Provides the client with complete, accurate and timing project plans per prescribed templates Ensures that the handoff from Deployments to Operations is smooth and that all data requirements, and client signoffs are met Manages the deployments to ensure appropriate profitability of the deployment upon completion Provides all DeploymentImplementation parties with clear communication and paths to successfully complete the engagement Identify, recommend and assist in implementation of continuous improvements. Proficient in leading team efforts with strong supervisory skills ExperienceEducation Required Bachelorrsquos degree desired.
