Job Description:

Crowe’s Private Equity tax group is expanding and looking to add a Senior Manager to the M&A Tax Transaction team as a result. Crowe’s M&A Tax Transaction team has a unique value proposition as we provide buy-side and sell-side tax due diligence and tax structuring services and post-acquisition lifecycle tax consulting services to our private equity clients.

This is a highly dynamic team with talented and supportive leadership. In this role, you will have high visibility, the ability to lead and further develop client relationships, growth firm revenue opportunities, and mentor and coach members of the team. If you have experience with M&A Tax Transaction services and are not currently a Senior Manager, we encourage you to apply regardless of your level or years of experience.

As a Senior Manager on the M&A Tax Transaction team at Crowe, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Advise clients on tax consulting services, including planning and research to enhance acquisition tax structuring opportunities and to mitigate tax risks associated with acquisitions, restructurings, reorganizations, and exits.
  • Identify and analyze undisclosed tax risks of target companies during the tax due diligence process, and to communicate findings with clients and other advisors.
  • Work with other senior members of the tax practice regarding various technical tax issues
  • Coach, mentor, and train team members
  • Growth firm revenue opportunities with recurring service offerings to newly closed private equity-owned portfolio holdings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA.
  • J.D./ LL.M preferred but not required.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisition in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
  • Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters in various industries
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple client engagements simultaneously
  • Excellent research and writing skills

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $130,780 to $209,220.
