Lounge Manager

Overall, they are in charge of running the day-to-day operations of a nightclub, from managing inventory and staff to overseeing the appearance and cleanliness. Oversees all aspects of the venue operations and ensures the venue is running effectively and meeting all Company standards each night to include; execution of beverage service, guest interaction and atmosphere.

Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. The environment is usually loud and fast-paced.

Responsibilities

  • Hiring, training, scheduling and managing staff, such as bartenders and servers
  • Managing inventory (liquor and other supplies)
  • Opening and closing the club
  • Ordering supplies
  • Promoting club/hiring or encouraging others to promote club
  • Ensuring operations run according to safety and sanitation standards and laws
  • Implement strategies for improved work performance
  • Recruiting talent or running promotions.
  • Producing creative promotions on all social media platforms.
  • Handling customer complains and concerns.

What we’re looking for:

  • Someone with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude
  • Ensure that daily sales/production goals are met
  • Managing technology systems like POS, Payroll, Applicant tracking systems etc. 
  • Resolve conflicts between employees diplomatically
  • Maintain a professional company image, including restaurant and bar cleanliness, proper uniforms and appearance standards.

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be the minimum age to serve alcohol.
  • 2-3 years of direct management experience in food, nightclub, and beverage industry.
  • You must be able to stand for extended periods of time and push/pull/lift 20+ pound.
  • Previous experience managing a team.
  • Hospitality, café, food service experience is a plus.
  • Must have or be able to take a food safety class, for responsible food handling practices. As well as a responsible alcohol vendors course.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
