• This Outside Sales position is for the territories of Los Angeles, Ventura, Kern, and Santa Barbara Counties.• You must live within a decent radius of the required territories above.• Please note: All initial interviews will be done at the Main Headquarters of Eco-Pan, Inc., in Riverside, CA 92501.• If you DO NOT meet any of the below requirements please do not submit your resume.JOB SUMMARY The Sales Representative is responsible for all sales related activities, from lead generation through close of sale. Develop and implement agreed upon marketing plan which will expand the customer base. Responsible for revenue generation and long-term account goals in line with the company strategy and values. Achieve customer satisfaction by proactively addressing concerns. Provide field supervision to Eco-Pan Drivers when applicable. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES• Ensure that the sales goals of the branch/territory are met while working with both the Branch Manager and coordinating your efforts in sales and marketing with the programs outlined by the Director of sales of the company.• Seek out new opportunities to sell company services by aggressively contacting and visiting prospective and existing customers. Make direct contact with all levels of decision makers in every facet of the construction industry.• Maintain a full and complete understanding of how to develop repeat business from all sectors of the industry through providing the highest level of customer service.• Generate leads by networking with prospective job contacts using information from data source reports, business journals, and other publications.• Market Company services through word-of-mouth company literature, social media resources and other programs outlined by both the Branch Manager and the Director of sales.• Answer questions, negotiate terms of sale and close new business.• Communicate new service opportunities, customer and market feedback, special developments or information collected during field activity to company Management.• Follow up on referrals and new leads resulting from field activity.• Establish client rapport and build new relationships through follow-up visits, telephone calls and industry events.• With direction from the Branch Manager, participate in industry trade associations and events that are beneficial to the overall growth in sales.• Provide immediate on-site customer service to all issues in person either while material placing is being performed or no later than the end of that business day. Phone calls are acceptable only when no other option exist towards resolving the issue.• A safety related issue takes priority and will be dealt with immediately. These issues will be followed through until confirmation of resolution is received.• Continually develop and maintain detailed product knowledge as an expert of the concrete washout industry.• Provide field supervision to Concrete Washout Operations. Assist Drivers with on-site operations -which include safety, operational, mechanical, and customer related issues. Participate and assist in on-site Driver training and development.• Assist with collections when necessary.• Travel to various job sites as required.• Must be able to work long hours and overtime as required with no set work schedule.SUPERVISION EXERCISED Supervise Eco-Pan Drivers/Crane operators if needed. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE• In depth understanding of the Concrete Washout business.• Demonstrated sales experience in the construction industry.• Must have a clean driving record.• Outstanding customer service and communication skills.• Ability to manage under pressure and with competing priorities.• Positive, articulate and persuasive.EDUCATION Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Some college is preferred.
