Loan Operations Manager

Overview:Responsible for overall loan operations management and oversight of the Loan Operations staff.

Design and administer systems processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing.

Lead, train, and manage the Loan Operations staff and ensure the department meets organizational goals.

Communicate with bank department managers/lenders to promote efficient and correct workflow and establish positive working relationships across the organization.

Ensure successful audits for Loan Operations responsibilities.Responsibilities:Essential Duties & Responsibilities
•Manage loan operations functions and personnel.
•Perform various personnel management functions including training; managing, directing, and developing staff; and conducting performance evaluations.
•Perform ongoing evaluation of all loan operations processes to ensure optimal workflow.
•Provide support for all loan processing functions, including applications, documentation, booking, disbursement and reporting.
•Provide support to loan processors and lenders as needed in order to meet loan customer requirements on a timely basis.

•Direct loan input (system boarding) and verification procedures for all loans.

Ensure proper segregation of duties and develop and maintain workflows for all stages of loan input.
•Maintain core system loan product specifications and overall operational parameters and serve as the loan system SME.
•Monitor and manage daily loan operations processing to ensure that all internal and external deadlines are met.
•Ensure that all loan operations personnel are cross-trained so that daily functions can be performed as usual during periods of personnel absence.
•Facilitate external and internal audit requests for loan records
•Ensure that all loan operations personnel receive regular procedural and compliance training in order to keep up with changing rules and regulations.
•Establish and update procedures for loan operations functions – communicate changes as needed to all affected bank personnel.
•Review all core processing updates for impact upon loan operations processes
– communicate changes as needed to all affected bank personnel.
•Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending seminars, reviewing professional publications, and networking with human resources and banking professionals.
•Promote the bank’s products and services whenever possible; participates in bank sponsored events, networking and volunteer opportunities at every opportunity.
•Provide service that aligns with the Bank’s values and strategic initiatives
•Follow all regulatory rules and regulations, immediately report any suspicious behavior and/or situations that may result in criminal or emergency incidents and complete all required training in a timely manner.Non-Essential Duties & Responsibilities

•College degree in business administration or equivalent professional experience preferred
•Minimum ten years of experience in banking operations preferred
•Comprehensive knowledge of related regulations of banking operations, products and services, and documents required for all types of loans
•Ability to communicate effectively through speaking, writing and listening
•Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff
•Demonstrate a commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals and deadlines
•Ability to think strategically and perform detailed tasks
•Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive documents
•Outstanding organizational, time management and analytical skills
•Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
•Demonstrated ability to work independent of direct supervision
