L’Cheriyve Studios Business Director

Summary:

L’Cheriyve is a unique oasis in Los Angeles that creates an exclusive and magical experience for its customers.

One of the primary roles of L’Cheriyve’s Business Director is to protect and enhance this image that has taken years to build.

This position will be responsible for overseeing and supervising all the company’s events, activities, and employees.

The Director is to keep the employees and vendors aligned with L’Cheriyve’s goals and objectives while adhering to the company’s mission statement and values.

This position develops L’Cheriyve’s budgets, financial reporting, policies, procedures, strategy, and employee recruiting and training.

L’Cheriyve’s business director will report directly to the owner of L’Cheriyve.

Responsibilities:
Prepare event budgets and be accountable for their performance and profitability.

Prepare monthly and annual budgets with reports comparing actual results to the budgets.

Source and negotiate contracts with all vendors and suppliers.

Be in charge of recruiting, screening, and hiring all personnel.

Supervise and direct all personnel and vendors.

Coordinate all operations for all departments of the company.

Ensure the studio stays in excellent repair, updated, clean, and in pristine condition at all times.

Communicate as L’Cheriyve’s liaison with the other tenants in the building.

Demonstrate the company mission and values by actions and performance.

Develop and prepare all marketing and social media campaigns.

Create and maintain office systems
– office administration such as answering phone calls, emails, restocking supplies, organizing, scanning, and mailing, depositing and reporting payments.

Ensure that all personnel and vendors adhere to all of the company’s security and safety procedures.

Maintain L’Cheriyve’s four-plus star rating on Google and Yelp.

Be the face of the company while promoting L’Cheriyve to the market.

Develop other markets and programs that will enhance L’Cheriyve’s success.

 

Requirements:
Three to five years of proven experience in managing and coordinating events.

Well-developed people skills and the ability to communicate clearly and precisely in a timely manner.

Ability to listen to the customer seeking to understand their wants and needs.

Assist with the setup and teardown of events (must be able to lift 50lbs) Be highly organized and passionate about customer satisfaction and company performance.

Have the ability to remain calm under pressure and problem solve with creative solutions.

Computer savvy, proficient in MS Office and Excel with a basic understanding of accounting.

Marketing platforms, proficient in mail chimp, Facebook, Instagram etc.

Possess leadership skills that create a coherent and positive team attitude and morale.

Have the ability to be decisive and practical when executing L’Cheriyve’s policies and procedures.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are dynamic.

Work requires the willingness to work a flexible schedule that will require weekends and/or evening hours.

Must reside within the geographic territory of 15 miles from L’Cheriyve.

A laptop and additional equipment will be provided. The employee will be using their personal vehicle, therefore the employee must hold a valid driver’s license and have appropriate auto insurance.
