The West Hollywood Parking Enforcement office is looking for a qualified individual to serve the Facilities Manager (Deputy Manager).
This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of the supervisory staff and officers in the field and, in addition, for improving supervisor and officer productivity and effectiveness.
This is an exempt position and the ideal candidate should expect to have a flexible schedule.The Facilities Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of a location, under the direction of the Operations Manager to ensure 24/7 professional parking enforcement management.
As a company devoted to promoting an employee-focused servant leadership culture, the Facilities Manager will support the programs and initiatives originating from our home office and help to support the individual needs of their operational teams throughout their assigned location(s).Principal Job Duties:Lead, direct, and develop team of shift supervisors and support staff.Manage, plan, schedule, train and direct the activities of on-site employees.Identifying high potential employees to support the organization’s continued growth.Responsible for payroll processing; ensuring sign off on hours in timely manner; collaborate with the local payroll department to ensure pay data is completed properly; work with Human Resources Business Partner to ensure proper wage and hour compliance.Responsible for the overall training program for all enforcement staff.Understand, implement, and deliver all requirements that are outlined within the contractual agreement between LAZ Parking and our clients.Implement and complete other projects, programs, and initiatives that may arise from the operation of assigned location(s).Communicate with local police department and City staff regarding operations and special events.Organize and manage the oversight of special events, including officer traffic control plans.Work closely with Parking Analyst to assist with the monitoring, review, and analysis of officer productivity.Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.Experience:2+ years in a Management role.Knowledge of Excel, Word, Power Point and General Microsoft Office Applications.Parking management experience is preferred but not required.Ability to be flexible in schedule in order to meet operational needs.
