This is a boutique civil engineering consulting firm that focuses on design and construction administration for land development projects throughout Southern California.The position requires strong leadership and communication skills with team members, clients and governmental agencies. The ideal candidate will be excellent with time management, a great communicator, motivated and possess an enthusiastic attitude.Responsibilities:• Project Management in the areas of Land Development Plan Design, Stormwater Management Design, Water and Sanitary Sewer Design and Erosion and Sedimentation Control Design.• Primary contact for Clients.• Lead and supervise a team of engineers, designers, and technicians in projects.• Responsible for planning, scheduling and coordinating assigned engineering work on multiple projects, including meeting schedules and budgets.• Ability to lead meetings with Clients, consultants, team members and governmental agencies independently, without assistance.• Knowledge of governmental public and private development codes and ordinance of multiple jurisdictions, design, bidding and construction administration processes.• Identify design criteria plus plan and execute effective designs.• Directly responsible for the technical content and quality control on specific projects.• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.• Implement innovative design and plan preparation technology focused on exceeding client expectations.Qualifications Required:• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college.• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of California.• 6+ years of experience in Site Civil/Land Development engineering.• 3+ years of project management experience.• Proficiency in Civil 3D and Microsoft Office.• Knowledge of local city, county and state land use processes and regulations (CA) preferred.If you want to make a career change and need professional help, contact our Recruiters today!480.530.3705or email us: engineering.vacancy(at)hireresolve.com
