Essential FunctionsReview federal and state income tax returns for individuals, trusts, non-profits, partnerships, C corps, S corpsAnalyze tax implications for individual/business tax returnsResponsible for quarterly and year-end tax planningManage tax departmentScheduling responsibilities for tax teamMentor tax staff and seniorsCollaborate with other departments to make sure firm goals are met as a wholeReview tax proposals and submit to potential clientsParticipates in business development activityIdentifies opportunities for the development of new servicesIdentify organization or association to network and develop business contactsParticipate in client visitationsOther duties as assignedEducation & ExperienceCurrent and valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license requiredBachelor’s degree with emphasis in Accounting8+ years of Public Accounting experienceMaster of Science degree in Taxation or JD highly preferredProficient in Lacerte, RIA, BNA as well as other accounting software
