Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Director of Skills Management, the incumbent will conduct weekly clinical observations in accordance with the Health System guidelines to ensure that clinical practices are adhering to the standards set by UCLA Health System.
Incumbent will be responsible for reporting observational findings and providing direct feedback to clinical managers, faculty, and staff.
The incumbent will provide support and direction as appropriate through coaching, project management, and training of staff.
Candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Practice managers to integrate the concepts of healthcare redesign into daily operational workflows.
Encourage a philosophy of teamwork across the organization that supports an environment of mutual respect and trust.
Ability to accept and carry out oral instructions accurately and work independently as well as part of a team.
The position will integrate the concept of redesigning care methodologies into every day working processes.
The incumbent will spend the majority of their time rounding and coaching in various practices as a part of the Practice Resource Team.
The incumbent will have a strong customer service skills and a commitment to excellence in care provision through positive communication and engagement of all stakeholders.

Qualifications
Required:
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Experience in leading, facilitating and sustaining service redesign and improvement in a clinical setting using proven methodologies.
(LEAN) Experience supporting clinical colleagues through change with a sound knowledge of change management principles and theory.
Strong organizational skills with the proven ability to deliver agreed objectives within timeframes
Ability to use judgement when dealing with confidential or sensitive information.
Strong negotiation skills with a collaborative approach to ensuring engagement from all level of the organization
Proven history of ability to successfully relate and communicate with all levels of staff from different professional backgrounds.
Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations and procedures to define objectives, identify pattern and formulate conclusions
Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, staff and physicians; give and receive information, clarify policies, and mediate if necessary with patients, physicians, and technologists
Ability to accept and carry out oral instructions accurately and work independently as well as a part of a team within a demanding environment
Ability to manage various projects with minimal supervision
Ability to be flexible with working hours given adequate notice and in alignment with job demands.
Ability to travel to multiple clinics.
Kowledge of computer software application including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
Preferred:
Supervisory or management experience
A minimum of two years recent experience within an acute healthcare setting with a proven history of high performance
