Job Description Summary
- The Janitorial Manager is a position within the line of operations of C&W Services. The incumbent is responsible for management of all Janitorial related services at the account, supervision of cleaners, and overseeing cleaning operations.
- Specific responsibilities include work-scheduling of all account personnel, establishing work standards, conducting site evaluations, Daily inspections, utilizing company provided inspection tool/audits, overall inventory/Overseeing the equipment upkeeping and usage.
- Budget control, employee evaluations, troubleshooting/problem solving, orientation /training of supervisor / C&W Services safety trainings of support personnel, customer relations, and special project work as requested, overall responsibility of day-to-day operations unless otherwise instructed.
Job Description
- 3rd Shift (10:30pm-6:00am) Shift will either be Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday.
- Pay: $70,000-$80,000.
- Manages the overall 24/7 of the accounts Janitorial activities.
- Maintains/monitors work schedules of all personnel.
- Establishes/maintains work performance standards.
- Conducts quality assurance checks utilizing Company provided tools (Clean Telligent or other meaning of Inspections methods)
- Manages Paper inventory as well as general use / Ordering.
- Coordination and controls special project work.
- Measures performance against assigned budgets and quality standards.
- Resolves on-site service delivery problems.
- Recruit, select and train new personnel.
- Participates in ongoing Company management/technical skill development training programs.
- Conducts orientation of employees, develops employees’ skills/abilities and performs annual Supervisor evaluations accordingly.
- Maintains effective ongoing customer relations.
- Be available 24/7 to respond to customer needs and emergencies.
- Perform weekly payroll functions ensuring all signing sheets turned in by Supervisors are signed in and out, historical submission, report and follow up on employee’s payroll issues.
- Comply with all Safety compliance trainings and require KPI. Report and investigate Near misses, Accidents and Injuries, including incidents that may have occurred while performing the Manager on Duty roll.
- Prepare and submit Daily Reports and weekly Action agendas.
- Be available to perform cleaning inspection tours with Client and Supervisors.
- Perform basic cleaning needs if need be in the event the Terminal is shorth handed accordingly including Blood Born Pathogens clean ups.
- Familiarizing with Client Consultant Elliot Inspection quality control, Reports review and correct cleaning deficiencies according as well as providing cleaning performance plans if need be.
- Learn to operate cleaning equipment accordingly in order to be ready for any emergency cleaning need specially during sewage backup / float calls.
Requirements
- Three to five years of management experience, and up-to-date knowledge of cleaning practices/procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
- Proficient with Microsoft office.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
