IT Projects Manager The Manager, Projects is responsible for the creation, organization, execution and completion of specific projects within a region.
This includes managing relevant employees, setting deadlines, communicating with stakeholders about the state of the project, ensuring projects stay on track and on budget, and adjusting if necessary, to meet new requirements.
Job Duties: Conducts due diligence of project requests by evaluating business segment request and needs.
Develops project plan based on due diligence and drive project to completion.
Creates long and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources.
Creates, maintains, and monitors project plans, schedules, and calendars for fulfilling each goal and objective.
Adjust schedules and targets as needed.
Delegates tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them.
Motivates employees involved in the project to complete tasks on time.
Identifies and manages potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects and provides solutions where applicable.
Serves as a point of contact for departments when multiple units are assigned to the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy.
Reports progress and results as requested by departmental leaders to keep the project aligned with their goals.
Performs quality control on the project throughout development to maintain the standards expected.
Documents and follows up on actions and decisions.
Prepares necessary project materials.
Determines project changes.
Provides administrative support as needed.
Undertakes project tasks as required.
Develops strategies to ensure an effective and efficient execution of projects.
Adheres to frameworks and maintain documentation appropriately.
Other duties as assigned.
