This is a long-term contract opportunity with one of our large public sector clients in Sunny California. Our client is currently looking for a consultant (PMP) to manage and lead a work effort to implement a Case Management System (CMS) through a full software implementation life cycle. The Consultant shall lead the project work effort to successfully design, build, test, train, and deploy a CMS that meets the needs of our client. Responsibilities The client is seeking a Project Manager to lead, oversee, and manage a Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) CMS systemrsquos implementation and delivery. In addition, the Consultant will be responsible for the following Provide project management standards and principals within initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and closing process groups. Design, build, test, train, deployment and transition to support services required for full CMS implementation. In collaboration with the CMS Contracted Vendor and CMS Project Team, the Consultant shall review the BPI and RFP documents, socialize and confirm collected functional technical requirements and future state workflows will be incorporated into the design and build of the new CMS system. The Consultant will work closely with the CMS Project Team, CMS Contract Vendor, and key stakeholders to complete the tasks and deliverables. Five (5) years of experience within the last seven (7) years managing enterprise Information Technology (IT) projects for a Case Management System. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years managing projects with a governance structure that includes multiple stakeholders. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
