Handles complex longshy-term focused projects involving multiple disciplines or business units. Provides leadership and direction to priority projects undertaken by Company. Recommends to client and IT management appropriate technological alternatives. Evaluates new technological developments and evolving business requirements. Provides highshy-level specialized technical support and consultation to the business and IT management. Business architectural, analysis and planning skills. Leads in the development of the technical solution or offering, in translating the business needs into technical requirements. Identifies gaps, strategic impacts, financial impacts and the risk profile in the technical solution or offering, and provides technical support. Vendor relationship and negotiating skills. Responsible for the negotiation, relationship management, tracking, troubleshooting and reporting of all technology related contract commitments made within the IT department. Tracks and monitors data necessary to ensure compliance to negotiated contracts on an ongoing basis and provides ad hoc reporting as required by enterprise systems. Provides and presents ad hoc analyses such as contract terms, dollar spent and process compliance. Collaboration Manage project workflows from concept through execution using visual workflow and team collaboration software (e.g. Leankor) to keep the IT Department on track and to enhance project related communications across the company. Demonstrates superior collaboration skills and techniques which appropriately define alternate solutions resolve conflicts and create lasting, productive partnerships with internal team members and vendors. Actively participates in crossshy-functional groups to solve problems across projects. Provides resources and organizational structure to promote collaborative initiatives. Utilizes a network of relationships to collect and disseminate information, build support, and secure buy-shyin for desired objectives. Projects a credible executive image when strategically communicating and planning for change. Fosters and manages productive relationships with executive level sponsors. Demonstrates superior interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and negotiating skills. Ensures open communication across project teams. Handles broad-shybased, often complex, communication for internal andor external audiences. Creates a forum and format for ongoing open communication within functional area or among departments. Defuses emotionally charged situations and uses them to constructively build greater shared commitment to end goals. Promotes knowledge of teamrsquos work to gain support for ongoing and future initiatives. Minimum Qualifications 5 Years minimum Project Management experience in a technology department. Able to meet the criteria described above in a competent and professional manner. Travel may be required depending on project load and resources. Education Requirements B.S. degree from an accredited University with a major in computer science or equivalent is highly preferred.
