IT Manager

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Coordinate and execute IT infrastructure improvement projects across all Valence sites and regions.
  • Projects will include Network, Hardware, Software, Cyber Security, Disaster Recovery, and IT support (offices and production shop floor)
  • Coordinate and execute Valence IT and Controlled Unclassified Information ( CUI ) Policies & Procedures to ensure compliance and mitigate business impact.
  • Ensure site and regional IT systems, assets, and information are available, and disaster recovery policies are followed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

 

 

  •       Excellent working knowledge of Network topology & equipment (firewall, switches, active directory, anti-virus, vLan)
  •         Server hardware & OS (Win server, Linux, VMware/ESXi, storage arrays)
  •        Personal Computer hardware, OS, software (Win, Mac, O365)
  •        Demonstrated capability to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot items above.
  •        Hands on experience implementing Cyber Security solutions.
  •     Working knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information and NIST 800-171 cyber security controls.
  •     Third party Suppliers and Customer relationship skills and ability to communicate (verbal & written) effectively and interact with customers at all organizational levels and leaders in other regions.
  •      Excellent project and program management skills, with the ability to execute multiple projects in parallel.
  •       Ability to prioritize and report activities effectively to upper management.
  •       Demonstrative Change Management experience
  •       Multi-site management exp.

 

·        Basic Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent work experience)

·        10+ years Information Technology job related experience

·        Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred but not required
