Job TitleInsurance Industry Product Manager, Deep Sector (DS)Role/Department Description:The Deep Sector Content team is responsible for driving the creation of a market-leading research platform for investment bankers and sell-side and buy-side research analysts focused on specific sectors. The Product Manager, Deep Sector, will play an integral role in this effort for the Insurance sector. You will be joining early in the lifecycle of a highly-visible, strategically important program with myriad growth opportunities at a company with a consistent record of growth.If you’ve done the hard work of understanding the Insurance sector and analyzing Insurance companies and you’re eager to turn that knowledge into content and solutions for financial professionals, this is the team for you. You will work with the Insurance Deep Sector Lead to build new products and improve existing products in a fast-paced, diverse environment. You will meet with prospective and existing clients to support these solutions and to gather feedback you can use to further drive the development of the platform.
Location:
Ideally located in the New York or London metro areas, with both hybrid and remote working options also available.
Responsibilities:
Partner with FactSet Product Development to simplify and enhance the workflows of users who cover the insurance industry.Collaborate with FactSet’s Content teams to deliver new content sets and to improve existing ones.Work with FactSet’s client-facing teams to position and sell solutions, and to support existing and new clients.Collect feedback from clients directly and indirectly through FactSet’s client-facing teams and turn that feedback into action.Develop new product ideas from concept through to implementation.Closely monitor industry trends within the Insurance sector, and help drive education on the Insurance industry across various FactSet teamsRequired Skills:Should have experience analyzing insurers and/or experience in investment banking or sell-side or buy-side research.Should possess a good understanding of investment banking and asset management and the related analytical workflows.Proven self-starter capable of working independently.Client-facing experience highly desired.Experience analyzing Banks or REITs is a plus.Experience managing multiple projects and working in a distributed team environment is a plus.Familiarity with Agile development and the Software Development Lifecycle preferred, but not required.CFA preferred, but not required.Team-oriented and client-obsessedFactSet is an Equal Opportunity Employer – M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityVEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the stateThe EEO is the Law poster is available here.FactSet Research Systems Inc. endeavors to make our website accessible to any and all users.
