Job Description Industry Applications-Financial Services professionals work with client teams to devise and implement strategies to advance key business objectives across the policy and claims lifecycle.

Particular focus is on developing and providing data-driven insights to support and promote change in organizational/ operational change, process redesign, and engagement models.

A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
– Adapts existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems
– Understands the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.

– Uses considerable judgment to determine solution and seeks guidance on complex problems.

– Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor.

May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.

– Determines methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance.

Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.

– Manages small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

– Travel 80% (4 days per week) It is our intention for our people to live where they work and work where they live.

However, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there may be times when you will need to travel.

Basic Qualifications:
– Minimum 3 years of experience in business consulting or industry to P&C Insurance clients focused on operating model transformation, business process improvement, business capability uplift, etc.

with deep knowledge of insurance propositions, products, services, channels, functions and processes
– Demonstrated deep experience in one or several of the following industry functions: P&C Underwriting, Claims (Personal or Commercial)
– Strong passion for serving Insurance clients in their effort to successfully transform their business
– Deep interest in and knowledge of emerging trends impacting/likely to impact insurers, distributors and customers
– Minimum 2 years of demonstrated ability to identify, shape, sell and lead management consulting work in the Insurance industry, working collaboratively with client leaders and teams
– Team and relationship management
– Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
– Bachelor’s degree Professional Skill Requirements: Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
