Genesis10 is seeking an Info Sec GRC Manager for a 6 month contract to hire position with a middle market commercial bank located in Los Angeles, CA. This role is 100% Remote however candidates will need to be able to work PST based hours. Summary: Information Security GRC Manager Position for a middle market commercial bank based out of California. This role is a consult to hire position (Expectation is to convert the resource in the 1st QTR of 2023). Location: 100% Remote however candidates will need to be able to work PST based hours. Oversight of the Bank’s Information Security governance, risk assessment, audit remediation activities Management of the data protection controls including email, web, and network security Continued monitoring and improvement of the Bank’s MSSP and migration of services to other 3rd parties or shared services Documentation of security processes Advise the Commercial Banking Division on Information Security Governance, Risk and Compliance matters impacting the division Develop and/or enhance policy and procedures Manage 2-4 information security analysts Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in banking and compliance functions. CRMC or similar certification is preferred. Experience: 5 years of experience within information security within a highly regulated business sector. Experience within the banking industry preferred. Skills/Qualifications: Experience in GRC activities: Participating in the audit lifecycle, regulatory examinations, and remediation of open issues Experience with Information Security for Identity and Access Management is preferred Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills and experience communicating with all levels of management. Must be a team player and ready to work as a cohesive group. Must be adaptable and able to work in a changing environment. Must be detail oriented, thorough, and well organized. Must be self-motivated, able to take direction and be responsible for the end work product. Must be practical, logical, and a critical thinker with an ability to solve problems. Must be efficient and possess time management skills. Must be able to work independently or as a team. Must be able to learn quickly and apply knowledge and experience to the changing environment.
