Pueblo Nuevo Education Development Group (PNEDG) is CNCA’s resource development and capacity building arm.
PNEDG invests in young people to foster personal transformation and generational social change.
PNEDG staff support and build capacity for CNCA schools in achieving their vision.

The ADTA is focused on developing a robust sourcing and selection strategy to ensure that the highest quality candidates are hired and retained.
The ADTA also maintains knowledge of current research, best practices, and trends on the national and state levels inform recruitment strategy.
Responsibilities Strategy and Vision Setting Responsibilities * In collaboration with VP of Human Resources, develop a comprehensive long-term recruitment strategy that is research based to ensure high quality staff are hired for all positions within the organization.
* Set recruitment goals to ensure a competitive selection process and manage the full-cycle recruiting, hiring, and placement process to secure high-quality talent for all open positions.
* Act as a thought partner for hiring managers to problem solve staffing challenges, train leaders on the hiring process and develop their hiring practices.
* Own progress monitoring for key metrics and indicators for success for Talent to ensure yearly goals are met.
* Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of the operations of the Talent Team through the use of metrics to inform continuous improvement and strategic decision making Team Leadership and Performance Management Responsibilities * Collaborate with the VP of HR to develop and facilitate long-term, substantive, coherent, professional development plans for the Human Assets Team * Set ambitious personal and professional goals and model relentless effort toward these goals.
* Give guidance and support to all managers in the hiring process, including assisting hiring managers with information to aide in determining teachers’ assignments and ensure appropriate credentials.
* Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure hiring processes are aligned with initial employee experience.
* Partner with the development team to create develop a recruitment marketing plan that includes materials and messaging that for online advertising, brochures, collateral, events, etc.
Administrative Management and Compliance Responsibilities * Manage hiring processes across sites by creating clear systems and procedures for leaders to collaborate with HSO.
* Collaborate with Principals and hiring managers to identify their specific hiring needs and present the best candidates in alignment with their specific campus needs.
* Oversee TA and Substitutes pipeline that allows internal staff to move into teaching positions and ensures they can stay in the classroom for the long-term.
* Seek out and cultivate partnerships with universities for sourcing.
* Seek out, evaluate, and cultivate student teacher partnerships (Ex: Teach for America, Antioch, Cal State Los Angeles) * Develop strong sourcing plan based on data and research to increase applicants and improve diversity (including platforms).
* Oversee BCLAD program enrollment and management.
* Oversee induction program enrollment and management.
* Identify, cultivate, and influence top candidates to apply to CNCA.
* Ensure all candidates possess the appropriate credentials and are in compliant with the CA Department of Education, California Commission on Teacher Credentialing, and other local and federal mandates.
Qualifications: * Bachelor Degree necessary; master degree or higher preferred * At least 3-5 years in urban education.
