This role will partner closely with the S4 HR SVP, HR Leads and the S4 integration team to identify which projects the HR team needs to prioritize and guide the Programs team focus. This person will lead the team to enable the execution of HR projects that improve team productivity and allow the People team to focus on the employee experience.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Partner with the S4 SVP and HR Leads to identify and understand the department’s priorities
- Build relationships with leadership as a trusted resource for all major HR initiatives requiring action
- Develop goals & roadmaps to ensure a planned approach to HR projects over time
- Ensure the delivery and successful completion of the global HR integration playbook
- Understand the HR function across S4C companies to guide the team on integration projects and priorities
- Define the key tracks for integration
- Collaborate with other integration teams to identify interdependencies
- Oversee project timelines/deliverables, align on priorities, disseminate key information and support to stakeholders
- Lead the HR Programs team and engage regularly to:
- Ensure project management work is executed successfully with a deep consideration for the manager and employee experience
- Confirm ability to meet milestones
- Help identify risks/issues, dependencies or global impacts
- Help the team adapt quickly to changing priorities, identify roadblocks and find solutions
- Ensure change management plans/strategies are built into all project plans
- Communicate effectively and proactively on project activities, issues and overall status to S4C management and key executive stakeholders
- Document best practices and create templates for optimizing future integrations, HR operations and project management
- Partner with the internal communications team and provide guidance on how to effectively manage employee expectations
- Partner with the PMI team and local HR Lead to manage the corporate integration strategy of future companies acquired by S4 Capital
- Own key strategic projects for the HR organization
Qualifications
- 7+ years of HR program management experience
- Experience guiding a team through an HR Transformation and a solid understanding of how people go through a change
- Strong knowledge of project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Strong analytical and operational capabilities
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Comfort working in ambiguous environment
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
- A “do whatever it takes” working attitude
- Ability to navigate across culture differences to ensure communication is clear given language and culture barriers
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
