Proven ability to manage through effective leadership skills Detail oriented, sound judgment and strong interpersonal skills Skilled and experienced at difficult decision making Calm and patient under pressure Extremely organized, reliable and dependable Sense of humorKey Responsibilities include:Payroll/Financial Admin Run bi-weekly payroll with support from Finance Team Manage annual benefits renewals and related admin Manage all workers compensation renewals and claims, keeping costs to a minimum Create and maintain feasible people budgets in-line with business plan and operationalneeds Advise on bonus structures and work with Finance Team on their distributionRecruitment and Succession Planning Develop role descriptions, screen and source candidates and optimize the recruitmentjourney from end-to-end. Recruit, interview and recommend exempt and non-exempt personnel; Conduct audits whennecessary to determine employee status. Maintain an up to date and fully compliant employee handbook Advise on CA employment law where necessaryPeople Operations Strategic business partner to local leadership, helping to manage all HR processes andpeople operations Partner with the global People team on process improvements for company growth andexpansion Oversee the full employee life cycle, making updates and changes to existing SOPs asneeded Deliver a full on-boarding service including impactful new starter inductions Communicate and implement policies and programs to guarantee compliance to all localemployees. Ensure completion of semi-annual performance reviews and internal NPS survey Ensure accurate employee records maintenance Manage all vacation and sick time Conduct and lead on all workplace harassment investigations Ensure the OKR process is completed in a timely manner each quarter and is built out as atop-down process Instruct, train and ensure management staff knows how to interpret and comply with allcompany policies and procedure as well as with local employment laws and best practices Handle all disciplinary action, providing training, coaching and support to line managers asneeded Assess and anticipate human resources-related needsCulture Work with Head of LA and CEO to ensure a positive company culture is developed andmaintained Practice positive employee relations, including maintaining a positive morale and a genuine,upbeat work environment Conduct regular check-ins with employees at all levels Propose and deliver a range of initiatives that are designed to build a sense of belonging andcommunity at the local and global level Shore up team education and continued learning by developing and maintaining ourBreakthrough for Us program for internal professional education and development for staffat all levels Maintain Employee of the Month/Year Program, and all other employee relations programs.Diversity and Inclusion Develop global company strategy along with People Advisor, UK, for how we recruit, developand retain diverse talent, resulting in measurable improvements in representation and hiringmetrics.
