HR Director

We are a full-service US law firm with offices in New York, Los Angeles, Irvine, San Francisco, Dallas, and Miami, and are closely affiliated with one of China’s largest law firms.

As we emerge from this challenging pandemic period, YK Law is looking increase its talented team.

We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources with an strong emphasis on recruiting to manage employees in all our US locations.

The position may be fulfilled from our office in New York, Los Angeles, or Irvine.

The ideal candidate will have several years of demonstrated HR management experience as well as a strong track record of successful recruitment.

As Director of HR, you will be comfortable managing a large team across multiple locations, and working closely with co-managing partners, administrative director, and accounting department to follow through on company growth and management goals.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting
Responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing workers.

Ideal candidates will also possess experience in full cycle recruiting.

Recruiting for all business services positions, onboarding new hires, and ensuring an elevated level of retention.
Human Resources
Ensuring our offices and employees are compliant with all state & federal HR requirements & polices.

Managing and monitoring HR data collection, including but not limited to:

Onboarding & offboarding staff, partners, and of counsel

Collecting appropriate tax & payment information from employees

Act as a point of contact for HR questions from attorneys, paralegals, and staff in the office

Coordinate with external vendors and professionals on annual HR activities, including benefits planning, federal reporting requirements, and industry surveys

Prepare information for budget and monitor expenses related to HR and employees

Work collaboratively with internal departments to achieve strategic growth goals

Assist with HR & compliance requirements when opening new office locations
Qualifications:
2+ years of proven successful recruiting experience.

2+ years of HR management experience

Ability to assist with marketing strategy.

Ability to assist with firm strategizing and planning.

Must demonstrate a thorough understanding of applicable HR laws and regulations, while also being aware of the company’s larger human resources objectives
