Job Summary of the Group Account Director position
Integr8staff is looking for a proven Group Account Director with a proven track record in uplifting teams and lead client marketing direction in the Multicultural consumer targeted markets.
The Group Account Director will lead strategic planning, driving marketing thought leadership, and day-to-day internal account management.
Responsibilities of the Group Account Director position
Identifies opportunities, in and out of scope, and ensures that solutions provided are on strategy and meet agency’s standards and client expectations.
Leverages multicultural insights, trends and emerging technologies to help develop engaging brand communications.
Be the SME and lead the agency teams in understanding, synthesizing, and utilizing client’s information.
Serve as the primary contact for execution partners, national and regional clients
Focus on client business needs and campaign impact presently and in the future.
Stay up to date on all competitive activity and new trends in the market place
– especially within the African American, Hispanic, LGBTQ+, Millennial segments.
Work with other agency functions to develop multi-channel, multidisciplinary plans, POV’s and recommendations, as required to keep the Agency top of mind to clients.
Tracking and maintaining all program budgets with revenue accountability
Ability to create polished presentations in PowerPoint showing data in visually compelling way
Identify field issues in a timely manner and develop solutions to keep projects moving forward
Provide weekly status updates on program results, client program reporting and reviews
Able to become knowledgeable on the clients’ industry, brand and product offering
Adapt to changing priorities and requests, while solving problems effectively.
Demonstrate strong client communication skills (insight, analysis, and program reporting)
Lead and mentor a lean team of account services personnel.
Requirements of the Group Account Director position
8+ years of Integrated Marketing experience; integrated, digital, social, print, display and more.
Successful multicultural consumer segment marketing experience required.
Client service and program management (from concept through execution)
Previous experience dealing with multiple execution partners (agencies, teams, etc.)
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Extremely organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Solid understanding of social media tools and digital platforms
Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Must be able to work flexible work hours, which may include evenings and/or weekends
Travel may be required.
