The VMware Product Globalization team is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager to join its ranks.

Our Product Globalization Engineering team works on hundreds of releases per year.
We provide globalization consulting, testing, engineering, tools/services, and project management to VMware product teams.
Your Day
As a Technical Program Manager in the Product Globalization Engineering team, you will have a significant role in driving product globalization to a new level of maturity and success, across the company’s rapidly expanding SaaS portfolio.
You will provide guidance, direction and clarity on integrating Globalization services.
You will also oversee end to end internationalization (i18n) support for various products.
Clear communication by setting the right expectations and driving progress is crucial to the success of this role.
Required Skills / Experiences
Driving internalization support consistency across all products, and working with R&D Product Managers on Globalization services integration
Managing specific programs and projects in collaboration with other globalization stakeholders
Working closely with Localization program management, globalization developer, and consultant teams to deliver high quality, internationalization compliant, localized products on schedule
Working with globalization QE team to ensure internationalization quality and test efficiency
Collaborating with product teams to drive product globalization support
Prioritizing globalization issues with product teams and providing context on how they affect our international customers
Desired Skills / Experiences
Great curiosity and passion to learn
BA/BS degree or equivalent
2 + years Program/Project Management experience
Ability to juggle multiple projects
Ability to understand a product’s Globalization needs and lead positive changes
Some experience and knowledge of internationalization and Localization processes and tools
Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams concurrently
Experience establishing critical metrics to measure our program’s effectiveness and efficiency
Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
Experience with Agile/scrum and effective written and verbal communication skills
