Dow has a new open role for a Global Digital Communications and Content Manager in Dow’s Coatings & Performance Monomers (C&PM) business.
The preferred location for this position is Collegeville, PA (Midland, MI or other locations within the U.S.
may be considered).
This individual is responsible for advancing results-oriented digital communication strategies, in alignment with business and market strategies, and Dow’s company-wide digital initiatives.
He or she will collaborate closely with multiple functions and business stakeholders to advance business objectives through digital channels and platforms.
This individual is also responsible for leading the global content strategy, dow.com content development and update plan, social media strategy, integrated campaigns, customer journey mapping and SEO / SEM strategies.
This position is part of the Dow C&PM Marketing Communications Team and will report to the C&PM Communications Leader.
Responsibilities / Duties: Develop the global digital marketing communications vision/strategy for the business in alignment with C&PM’s business growth strategy Serve as a strategic digital advisor in the business and provide counsel to communications and marketing teams on digital communications strategy, digital communications value, content performance analytics, SEO / SEM strategies and channel management Lead key messaging development for priority markets and products Lead and execute C&PM’s dow.com content updates and develop update process and timing Develop and manage global promotion content calendar ensuring consistent messaging across markets.
Educate key stakeholders on effective content creation and channel optimization to enhance effectiveness of C&PM’s digital and social platforms (e.g.
business social channels, dow.com and connection to Enterprise channels when appropriate) Represent C&PM on Dow’s Content Advisory Board (CAB), working with corporate and business representatives to help drive an integrated approach to storytelling across Dow’s communications channels.
Leads C&PM digital promotion strategies, including integrated promotion campaigns, social media strategy, channel management, measurement and governance.
Drive and track content analytics across relevant sites and platforms (e.g.,Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, dow.com) to enhance content effectiveness and drive engagement Provide counsel based on content performance to internal teams for consideration on program shifts or content changes for long term growth and success Work closely with C&PM digital marketing leader to align promotion efforts with digital marketing priorities Track and incorporate B2B and B2C digital trends when appropriate to improve promotion effectiveness and audience engagement Manages relationships as the business focal point with internal digital teams (Digital Commerce, DMC, etc.) Oversight of digital communications budget and digital agency management, including agency performance and relationship management, etc.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Ability to work with a variety of cultures, functions and businesses and other stakeholder groups along with the skills to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
– prioritizing a diverse range of projects and meeting tight deadlines Strong writing and content marketing skills Required Qualifications: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Prior experience in marketing communications, digital marketing or a related field Deep understanding of digital platforms and effective channel management strategies A minimum requirement for this U.S.
based position is the ability to work legally in the United States.
