With that in mind, we will be opening Giggity Golf, a Family
Guy mini golf immersive experience in the Arts District of Los Angeles, CA.

Scheduled to open in mid-September, we are looking for a General Manager to build
and guide a team to run this Experience.

Job Summary
The General Manager will provide the profitable operation and management of
Giggity Golf, a Family Guy mini golf immersive experience. This position will be an
inspirational leader who understands that developing and training their team is
critical to the operation.

The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering quality
service to guests, is a fair and compassionate leader to their team, has a
commitment to safety, and values fun in everything they do. They must be able to
develop and manage people, processes, and budgets successfully and effectively.

The General Manager reports to the Executive Producer and will grow to manage an
operations team across guest experience, retail, maintenance services, and
security.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Phase
● Develop and implement operations policies, processes, procedures, and
standards
● Recruit, interview, hire, train, manage and develop a world-class operations
team
● Create training and reference materials for all operations staff
● Define the team culture and incorporate it into the operation
● Development and implementation of health and safety protocols
● Develop community relationships critical to the Superfly mission
● Ensure site is up to code for city inspections and certifications (team
members have been properly trained/certified, site has been built out and
maintained per municipality requirements, etc.)
● Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
● Perform additional duties, tasks, and responsibilities, as required

Operational Phase
● Lead and be part of the MOD (Manager on Duty) rotation – oversee on-siteday-to-day operations including, but not limited to:
-Ticketing
-POS management
-experience operations
-guest services
-maintenance/custodial services
-security services
-on-site marketing
-on-site groups & events
-retail operations

 

●Lead, manage, and develop the site team and ensure all team members are
supported and managed effectively to provide an exceptional guest
experience
Continue to recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop a world-class
operations team
Oversee operations team across guest experience, retail, maintenance
services, and security
Be part of the MOD (Manager on Duty) rotation
Grow a culture of accountability and flawless execution
Lead cross-departmentally on the strategic planning and execution of
revenue generating events
Oversee department timelines, milestones, and deadlines; develop and
maintain project and daily schedules and workbacks.
Manage the operational budget and ensure all financial reporting is accurate;
ensure that costs are controlled and that results are analyzed regularly to
highlight problem areas with immediate action taken
Payroll oversight and ensure weekly on-time payroll reporting
Oversee administrative functions including file storage, invoice processing,
expense reports, etc.
Vendor Management

-Research, survey, and negotiate deals with key vendors
-Interface with vendors to demonstrate and achieve strategic goals and objectives
-Monitor vendors to ensure they provide services consistent with
company standards

Identify opportunities for team members to gain additional responsibilities
and develop leadership skills
Apprise Corporate Leadership regarding major issues and/or developments
Procurement of operational supplies and equipment needed to execute a
seamless experience operation
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, building permits and
insurance as well as fire safety
Ability to maintain relationship with venue landlords and facilities teams
Perform additional duties, tasks, and responsibilities, as required

Requirements
● 3 years of operations management experience
● Bachelors Degree preferred
● Experience working in venue management or similar positions and/or
operating large-scale experiences in the USA
● Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
● Familiarity with California + State labor rules and regulations, permitting,
licensing, and building code
● Past experience in managing site operations for a four-walled event including
but not limited to temporary power & internet, temporary infrastructure &
equipment, concessions setup, heavy equipment and site labor management
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Apps for business
